April is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute and began her career as
a professional chef before returning to her hometown of Baltimore. She then spent
over a decade managing a natural food store, where she honed her skills in leadership,
operations, and customer service. After taking time to focus on raising her children,
April transitioned into office administration, where her organizational expertise
and commitment to excellence shine. In her university position, she finds fulfillment
supporting the students and staff of the Tutoring and Learning Center. Her passion
for education and community has lead to leadership roles in Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts,
and the PTA. During free time, April enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking,
or star-gazing and is an avid reader who believes in the lifelong pursuit of knowledge. |
