The TU American Association of University Professors (AAUP) encourages faculty to participate in campus life through engaged leadership in committee work at all levels, active recruitment of departmental colleagues, and direct communication of issues as they arise.

Academic Resources

The Office of Sponsored Programs and Research grows, manages and protects the Towson University sponsored programs portfolio.

The Tutoring and Learning Center is a full-service learning center that assists students with achieving their academic goals.

The Academic Advising, Retention & Completion Office (AARC) works to ensure that informed, effective, and easily accessible academic advising, which addresses individual needs and interests, is available to every undergraduate student at Towson University.

Student Resources

The Center for Student Diversity (CSD) supports the access and academic success of historically under-represented groups through programs and services that enhance the student experience. Contact  or 410-704-2051 for more information. 

The Counseling Center offers individual counseling, as well as other services to students, including alcohol and drug abuse counseling. The Counseling Center's Meditation Room can be booked for individual or group sessions.

Accessibility and Disability Services (ADS) is a department within the Office of Inclusion and Institutional Equity that provides leadership to Towson University's efforts to facilitate an accessible and inclusive learning environment for students with disabilities. The ADS office serves as a central resource for the campus community on disability-related policies, procedures, services and accommodations in higher education. 

Students can register with ADS at any time during their academic career; however, accommodations are not retroactive.

The International Student & Scholar Office (ISSO) provides documents, services, and programs essential to a culturally diverse academic environment that enhances international learning opportunities for students, faculty, and staff. Contact  or 410-704-2421 for more information.

Campus Resources

The goal of the Environmental Health and Safety Office is to keep the campus environment safe for the health of its inhabitants and compliant with federal, state and local standards. They have dedicated programs geared toward maintaining biological and radiation safety, proper storm water managementfire safety and securing chemical hazards

Faculty and Staff Affinity Groups

TU's faculty and staff affinity groups celebrate, support and empower faculty and staff by fostering a community that provides networking, communication and personal and professional growth opportunities. 

The academic calendar contains dates for the start and end of the semester, change of schedule period, midterm and final exam week days and other important academic deadlines. The Holy Days Calendar is an educational and accommodation resource for planning classroom, academic and co-curricular events.
