Public Accountability Measures
On April 21, 2024, the Accreditation Council of the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) granted accreditation to the College of Education at Towson University at the initial teacher preparation and advanced preparation levels through Spring 2030. This accreditation decision indicates that the unit and its programs meet rigorous standards set forth by the professional education community.
Nationwide, teacher education and educator preparation programs are increasingly relying upon data-based decision-making processes for program improvement. The Towson University Professional Education Unit is working with CAEP to share some elements of our aggregate candidate performances on select accountability measures listed below.
