Choose from two pathways to learn trade skills—and earn while doing it.

The Professional Development Partnership is for high school juniors and seniors interested in learning construction trades.

Choose Your Pathway

  • Work-based learning: up to 20 hours/week of hands-on experience
  • Youth apprenticeship: at least 450 hours/year in trade-related work

Program Benefits

  • Work part-time while gaining valuable career skills.
  • Get on-the-job training in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and painting.
  • Confirm your career interests before graduation.
  • Network with professionals in the field.

After graduating, students can progress to the Trades Development Program.
